Overview
Yeast Meets West is a local bakery that is in a period of transition as the children of the owners begin to modernize as they take over. Due to a broken weight scale, the machine requires patrons to manually input the quantity of their purchases. The system is described as learning as it goes, though it remains quite demanding of the customer's cooperation.
A Transactional Turn of Events
Stevveee is caught by the automated checkout system touching a croissant and is forced into a payment of 99 cents. When the child couldn't produce any actual currency, he offered a rock instead. To the machine's surprise, the first rock was analyzed as being 30% zinc and 40% gold. The child then produced a second rock, which the system identified as 100% gold. This transaction was sufficient to allow the child to purchase the entire bakery. The business has since been rebranded as Stevo's Bakery, with the new owner—a child who insists on being called Stevo—now in charge of the croissants and the sentient technology.
