Tom Hill, part of the comedy/theatre duo Hip.Bang! comes on the show to talk about their new show about You Bet - which is all about gambling. And he also talks about their comedy album Hi-Fi Comedy Kit. Tom brings a very precious and very serious improv troupe to our town by the name of Naked Grapes. The internal politics are crazy. We meet a man by the name of Tylanosaurous Rex. Tom also builds the Central Community Gardens for our town. Tylanosaurous Rex gets a plot. Lastly, we take a visit to our pyrite mine.

Emmett Hall - video game music maker and member of thrash metal band Necronado returns to the show to talk about the new neighborhood he’s moved into in Vancouver, but he puts in New York terms so every can understand. Emmett creates “Van Land” an attraction that is basically just 6 rusted vans on someone’s front lawn. We also get a chain eatery called Chagrinie’s that moves into a neighborhood to gentrify it.

Actor Howard Dai joins us for our “on-site” episode, where Mark and Ryan host from the outdoor gazebo at The Caravan Farm Theatre in beautiful Armstrong, British Columbia. Howard talks about his time growing up in Taiwan, getting in trouble for throwing rocks in a pond, and a mysterious “Journey Man”. He brings a night market to our town (complete with some sketchy vendors), hints at the beginnings of an AI revolution, and adds a few new updates to some existing town lore.

Host of the legendary Talent Time, Paul Anthony comes by to tell us about getting kicked out of NXIUM, telling Zach Galifianakis that The Hangover was going to flop before it was released, and living in a dead zone. He creates so much this episode including: a town beer called Hissy, a goal orientated cult, and a black market for Certs breath mints.

School is back in session and so are we, and this time Chris is joining Mark and Ryan on mic. Lots of promises are made in anticipation of Episode 100 of The Town Show. We also read a few listener emails and take their suggestions which results in two Christmas themed sandwich shops, one Victorian Bear Pit themed sandwich shop, and a very cool banker named Dill.

We’re back with Ep 5 of The Outskirts - our creepy serialized show within the world of The Town Show. Mark and Ryan start things off with a scene between the two undercover cops - Carol and “The Sad Man” racing through the desert on a silent ATV where they encounter a Mad Max-esque encampment. Then they jump over to a scene with our main character Engle - who is faked his death and the man who is trying to change his identity for him - Shadow Spike. And last but not least we end with a very steamy scene with the Pig Man, and we end on a thrilling cliff hanger - all wrapped up in Ep 6 of The Outskirts - the Season 1 finale.

Actor and writer Kayla Lorette (Netflix’s Wayward ) joins Mark and Ryan to talk about growing up in Pamela Anderson’s home town of Ladysmith, BC. She talks about her cool drama teacher, her high school improv team that didn’t wear shoes, and the pseudo science film What the Bleep Do We Know!? She also talks about her deep connection with the goth kids of Vancouver Island. For our town she builds a grocery story with a wine bar call The Spirits of Grocery, a beach where teens hang out, a we see a tax dispute between local magicians and an order of witches.

Mark and Ryan welcome back Taz Van Rassel (The Sunday Service), the first member of the Three Timer Club! He talks about the town of Prince George, BC where he used to visit his grandparents. He talks about Mr PG - the famous log statue. Then the conversation quickly turns to pranks of all scales - from a garbage juice prank to the infamous Boner Satan Statue of Vancouver. In our town he builds a credit union, a very suggestive sculpture, and we follow a very elaborate prank that plays out for years in our town.

Podcaster and comedian Abdul Aziz (Spout Lore) drops by to tell us about growing up in The United Arab Emirates and Dundas, Ontario. He talks about his school in the UAE having an airplane hangar and about how his high school in Dundas was turned into a cemetery. He gives a full Power Point presentation on his high school in Dundas, so you’ll want to watch this one on video. He builds a hockey arena in our town and it is named after a haunted character by the name of PT FRIGHTDREAM. Our town also gets a cemetery in honor of Abdul’s high school.

Comedian Ronald Dario joins Mark and guest host Christine Bortolin to talk about: His experiences on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The difference between Corn Pops in Canada and the US. How creating Party Island for our town now hangs over him and how he can’t escape it. Mark spoils the end of S.E Hinton’s The Outsiders. Despite being unable to get away from it, Ronald creates a podcast for Party Island which is sponsored by “Boner Gum” and he creates a Hall of Fame for the town.
