Amy Goodmurphy

About

Amy Goodmurphy is a comedic performer known for inhabiting complex, slightly eccentric characters with a grounded and humorous touch. A dedicated outdoor enthusiast, she spent much of her youth in the Pacific Northwest, moving from the forest-heavy North Van area to the small town of Salmon Arm for her father’s employment. While she fondly remembers the distinct energy of Salmon Arm, where she attended kindergarten, she eventually returned to North Van.

On The Town Show

Appearing in the episode 'The Library,' Amy shared memories of her childhood travels across the Vancouver area and her history in Salmon Arm, noting that while the region has become more diverse, her experience was defined by its rugged, foresty environment. She also recounted a recent crabbing trip on the North Shore with friends; after years of watching others, she finally caught a crab but chose to release it because it was a small female.
