Nathan Billings

The Shegrinnies Hero

Billings is far from an ordinary businessman. Having brought the popular restaurant to the neighborhood, he has become a household name frequently appearing in the news for his contributions. He takes a great deal of pride in the brand, emphasizing that it is "Nathan Billings Shegrinnies."

Community Relations and Commerce

During his interactions with the Van Land business, Nathan demonstrated a keen interest in the community's value, even taking umbrage at the literal erosion of the local landscape. As an attempt at a good faith offering, Nathan offered to provide happy hour coupons for Shegrinnies, provided the Van Land team could successfully contain their ongoing rat problem.

The Sky Palace Recluse

Despite his public success, Nathan lives a life of isolated luxury in his "Sky Palace" apartment, a high-rise residence on the 18th floor that offers a sweeping view of the town and the growing Van Land. While he oversees the expansion of the Shegrinnies franchise, Nathan describes his lifestyle with a sense of melancholy, comparing his high-altitude home to a "Bastille Prison of my own making." He is deeply invested in the spread of Shegrinnies ideals, viewing the expansion as a means of "sterilizing" the neighborhood.
