The Bowling Alley w/ Syd Campbell

Edmonton’s very own Syd Campbell comes on to tell us about their curiously named high school and their hometown bar The Black Dog. They name our town’s first street, build a bowling alley/office supply store, and build a piece of lore that involves the mayor and his wife that the town will NEVER get over.

The Ravine w/ Peter Carlone

Comedian, director and video game streamer Peter Carlone (aka Solid Content) comes by to build a viaduct right the through the center of our town, covering up a beloved ravine. He builds a Gregg’s pasty and sandwich shop, and a museum of unnecessary objects. He also tells an incredible story about being in a production of The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe.

The Ski Hill w/ Ese Atawo

Actress and comedian, Ese Atawo (FX’s Legion) talks about being super athletic, growing up in Nigeria and Toronto and her king-like laugh. For the town she builds a ski-hill and pitches an amusement park. Plus, a poorly crafted text has everyone in town thinking they’ve won a million dollars and gets them all talking about the 1995 film Major Payne.

Mini-sode

Mark and Ryan host another mini-sode where they issue corrections, establish more rules for the town, and even read a listener suggestion for the town. If you want to get to know Mark better, this is the episode for you because Mark talk A LOT about growing up in New Mexico including the time he “auditioned” for a youth soccer league. They also build something called a Tot Lot for our town.

The 50’s Diner w/ Dave Shumka

Co-host of Stop Podcasting Yourself, Dave Shumka joins Mark and Ryan and builds a 1950s style diner for our town with a duck theme. He also introduces a Can-Con-esque system for music, Mark plays a new kind of a regional Santa Claus and Ryan is the star in a new show - Dougie Howser, M.P. (Member of Parliament)

The Rave w/ Kevin Vidal

Comedian and causal raver, Kevin Vidal stops by the show to start a rave scene in our town. He also quite accidentally builds an entire industrial park, and a newspaper printing press. And Mark gets fixated on the idea that there should be a door to door knife sharpener by the name of Mr Whetstone.

The Theatre w/ Kelli Ogmundson

Kelli Ogmundson (Fox’s Animal Control) joins Mark and Ryan to build not one but two theatres for our town. Both of them decide to stage Tron: The Musical. Kelli also talks about the eerie May Day celebrations in her home town and she introduces a new spring festival for our town.

The Map

Our town now has a map! Created by Townie D’Leen, Mark and Ryan pour over all of the details in the map and do some scenes. They also get on their horses for the round-up and read some emails which inspire a secret society barber shop, and a very bizarre conspiracy around french horns in the town.

The Arcades w/ Cam MacLeod

Actor and comedian, Cam MacLeod joins the show to talk about being a “scrubber” growing up in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. He builds two arcades for our town with a hilarious rivalry. He gives the town a pants store where the slogan is: “Where you always know where the legs do meet”. A town clock gets built by local artist/grifter Jessna. Plus, we meet the Bleepsy, The Janitor Clown.

The Big Dig w/ Tess Degenstein

Actress and improviser Tess Degenstein (Neon’s The Monkey ) joins us to talk about growing up in Regina. She builds a science museum for the town called Science for a Day. We meet a man who always wears a cat around his neck. Plus, we find out why they are draining Lick Lake and digging it up.
